Islamic Center Of Naples

The Islamic Center of Naples is the first and only Muslim community in Naples, Florida. Our community’s history is a reflection of the growth and dedication of our congregation.

Our History

  • We are the first and only Muslim community in Naples, Florida. Our community’s history is a reflection of the growth and dedication of our congregation. It all started in 1993 with two brothers praying at one of the brother’s home. In three months, attendance for Jumma prayers went from two brothers to eight. For the next ten years, as our numbers grew, our search for the perfect location took us to many places including a vacant townhouse generously volunteered by one of the brothers, to the most unlikely place: an empty automotive garage at a Citgo Gas Station on Davis Boulevard where our membership continued to grow to twenty members.

  • From 2003 through 2009, we established a Musallah in a one bedroom apartment. In addition to Jumma prayers, we started leading daily Fajr, Isha. Here our congregation increased to thirty
    -five (35) members.
  • In September 2009, we found a commercial plaza at 2795 Davis Blvd Unit D. This place was an old Beauty Parlor which had to be demolished and rebuilt as a Musallah. For thirty days, two of our brothers donated their time and worked to transform the old beauty parlor to our Musallah. Ten days after the start of Ramadan of 2009, we moved into our new Musallah. July of 2012, we leased the property next to our current location to provide our Sisters their own place to pray in privacy.
  • In March 2018, by the Grace of Allah SWT, we purchased a property in 2801 County Barn Rd. which we are using now as a Masjid for the Islamic Center of Naples. The property is 4.5 acres, and it has one story, 4,800 SF building, a playground for kids, 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, 8 rooms, and a swimming pool. After doing remodeling, we moved into the property in November 2018.
  • Today our Masjid is open 24/7 and we perform Fajr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers in congregation daily, as well as Friday prayers and Alhamdulillah, we have over one-hundred-five (105) members. During Ramadan, we have Iftar (dinner) and Taraweeh prayers daily. Our Eid prayers are usually performed on an off-site location.
  • We would be delighted to hear from and welcome you to our Masjid. We can be reached via E-mail at the following address: [email protected]

May Allah bless you.
